Christmas in July?

Blog reader, I give you Photojojo.

Photojojo surfs all over the internet and brings together amazing photography DIY projects, fun, gear, inspiration, and did I mention fun?

The most recent idea that had me inspired was how to make your electronic devices see-through.  (You can read that how-to by clicking here).

And in addition to fun projects, they have a fantastic store!  Did you know that you can get lenses for your iPhone?!

If you were wondering what to get that special someone me for my un-birthday, Labor Day, Columbus Day, or today (because EVERY day is a celebration)…nudge, nudge…You may flip a coin and choose any item from the Photojojo Store.  It’s easy! 😉

Here’s two things I thought were pretty cool.  I had to resist the urge to post up a hundred pictures.  I pretty much think all of it is cool.

You can go to Facebook and become friends with Photojojo.  Or head to their main site by clicking here.

I promise I was not rewarded in any way by Photojojo for writing this post.  I just find them so inspirational and fun, I think everyone (professional or otherwise) would enjoy what they offer! 🙂

I love that their focus is on being inspired and creative with whatever photographic equipment you happen to have.  Because that is the beauty of photography after all…equipment is irrelevant…it’s the eye and the mind behind it that counts!  Oh, and having fun!

P.S.  Merry Christmas, John 3:16 style.  (For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.)  That’s the best present for any day, ever.

P.P.S.  I really want this. 😀

P.P.P.S.  And this.

(Ok, I’m done.  For now.)  😛

A New Twist on Color Photography!

I receive e-mail updates from Canon, and was taken by surprise by this morning’s email.  They are now offering their latest DSLR camera in COLORS!?

Check it out!

Red, Brown, Metallic Gray, and the traditional Black are the options…exclusive to orders directly through Canon’s website.

For quite some time, point and shoot cameras have been offered in many colors, so it’s not really a brand new concept.  But this camera packs some serious features!

What do you think?  Is your own camera “plain” black or silver?  Or, do you have some color in your camera bag?

My DSLR is black, and my Digital Elph is Silver.  I haven’t decided what I think about the colorful options of the bigger camera yet!

I’d love to hear your thoughts!
